Pope & Land Responsibilities: Mr. McShane’s responsibilities at Pope & Land include identification and execution of new projects, land assemblages and development opportunities in Metro Atlanta and throughout the Southeast.
Professional Experience: Mr. McShane has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and has closed over $100 million in transactions with a focus on development land, office, retail and entertainment projects.
Chris has extensive experience working with public partners on various initiatives including infrastructure grants, sales tax rebates, and conservation easements.
Education: Chris received his B.A. in Philosophy from The University of Georgia, where he was a Robert C. Byrd Scholar.
Membership: The National Association of Realtors named Chris as a one of the top “30 under 30” real estate professionals in the country and he is a past winner of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtor’s Alvin B. Cates Award.
Personal:. He and his wife, Pearson, reside in Atlanta with their son, Wilson, daughter, Martha and dog, Toby.
