Pope & Land Responsibilities: Jennifer Koontz oversees the leasing for both Pope & Land’s office portfolio and assets for multiple third-party owners. Currently, she and her team lease 1.7 million square feet of Class A and B office space in Atlanta. When working on overall mixed-use developments, Jennifer leases both ground floor and stand-alone retail in addition to the office space. Additionally, she works closely with Asset and Construction Management to evaluate and oversee property improvements, ensuring that the improvements chosen will yield the highest return to investors. 

Professional Experience: Jennifer has leased over 4 million square feet in most of the major Atlanta submarkets during her 20+ year tenure at Pope & Land. For more than 18 consecutive years, she has been a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtor’s Million Dollar Club procuring more than half a billion dollars in lease volume for her building owners. Additionally, Jennifer sits on NAIOP Georgia’s Advisory Council and the Board of Directors for both the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and NAIOP Georgia.

Education: Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree from Wake Forest University and has obtained the real estate designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Membership: Jennifer is active in the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors (ACBR) as a member of the Board of Directors, CCIM designee and sits on both the Advisory Council and Board of Directors for the Georgia chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Personal:  She lives in Brookhaven with her husband Charles and two children. She is an avid reader and water-skier and loves to explore National Parks with her family.
