Hundreds of property industry professionals met to swap business stories, make connections, and raise money in Atlanta for a local school at an event hosted by the Georgia chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association.
The association said about 550 people attended the black-tie gala, dubbed NAIOP Night, at the St. Regis in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood.
NAIOP Georgia President Jennifer Koontz said the event helped a good cause.
“In addition to bringing our members and local leaders together, we presented a check for $65,000 to Ron Clark Academy, an organization so important to NAIOP, our members and the city,” Koontz, a managing director at developer Pope & Land Real Estate, said in an email.
The Ron Clark Academy is a nonprofit private school in Southeast Atlanta that serves fourth through eighth graders from various socioeconomic and academic backgrounds across the metropolitan area.
